Who We Are:
The worship ministry at The Pathway Church consists of several music teams, a technical crew, and a set-up/take-down crew. Our desire is to authentically worship God as we lead the congregation in meaningful worship services each week. We believe that our gifts and talents have been given by God, and our desire is to use them in a way that glorifies Him. The music that we sing each week is a combination of contemporary Christian worship songs as well as some traditional hymns.
What We Do:
Music: We have several worship leaders at The Pathway. Each week, they email their music lists to their band, so that each band member can prepare on their own at home. The band then practices at 8:30am on Sunday mornings. Occasionally there are extra practices scheduled during the week at band members’ houses.
If you are interested in being involved with The Pathway Music, and have been attending our church for 2 months or more, please email Christina, our worship director. We will discuss opportunities to first practice with a music team, and then work up to playing/singing on Sunday mornings.
Technical Crew: This consists of all sound, audio and video components during our worship services. If you have a background with sound, computers or a desire to learn, please let Christina know.
Set-Up/Take-down Crew: Since we are renters in the Beddington Heights Community Arts Centre, we are responsible for setting up and taking down all of our equipment each week. This role is just as important as any other on Sunday mornings, and we are always looking for extra help. If you have a desire to serve and are not sure where to start, this may be for you!
